Campaign for Healthy Incentives Program FundingThe Collaborative leads a campaign to ensure that this program, which provides fresh, healthy, local foods for SNAP recipients, receives increased funding to meet demand, operates year-round, and adds new farmers to fill gaps in program coverage.

Mobile Food Vendor Working GroupThe MA Food System Collaborative and the Massachusetts Association of Health Boards have formed the Mobile Food Vendor Working Group to increase efficiencies for Boards of Health while protecting food safety.
Local Food Policy CouncilsThere are around 20 local food policy councils throughout the state, creating critical momentum for change at the local level. The MA Food System Collaborative is supporting these groups through creating a statewide network of food policy councils. This network provides a venue to strengthen connections between the groups, share best practices, and provide relevant education.
Food system bills in the MA legislatureThe Massachusetts legislature is considering many bills in the 2021-22 session that relate to the Massachusetts Local Food Action Plan. This list includes bills that most closely align with goals and recommendations from the Plan.
